Invite you to a meeting of

BLYTHSWOOD CARE SHOE BOX APPEAL

SUNDAY 17th SEPTEMBER 2017

On Sunday 17th September, we have been fortunate enough to have a member of the Blythswood Care Organisation  to come an speak to us,  not only about the annual Shoe Box Appeal but the on-going valuable work they do throughout the rest of the year all over Europe.

Mrs Margaret Tooth, Area Fund-raising Manager  for South & Central Scotland has kindly agreed  to come and explain the valuable work they do.    She has asked for  an hour,  part of this will be a short video and a power-point display.

I understand Margaret is already known to many of you as  she has made previous visits to the area.     She has spoken to groups in Wigtownshire, schools and Rural groups,  so this  will give you the opportunity to re-new your acquaintance with her.

The meeting is to be held on Sunday 17th September at 2.30pm, Castle Douglas Parish Church Hall, we would be delighted if you could come along and find out exactly what you contribute to each year.

Please bring friends, mums, dads, brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles with you to make it a worthwhile journey for Margaret.     Tea, coffee, biscuits will be provided.   Also there will be a limited amount of shoe boxes should you wish to take one away with you and make a start on filling it.  (No pressure).

We look forward to meeting you on the 17th September at 2.30pm.
